Now that we are really getting into the offseason for FC Dallas (the players have their exit medical exams today), it feels like a good time to start diving into some more roster-related items for the club.
As of this writing, we don’t know the club’s roster moves just yet (those could come later this week), it is a good time to discuss some potential options for players who could have earned a spot on next year’s roster.
Today, we’re discussing the newly crowned MLS NEXT Pro Cup champions, North Texas SC, and who from that roster should be getting a serious look from FC Dallas.
Here are several players that could be in line for ‘moving’ up to a first team deal in 2025, and one that already has a first team deal that should see more time with FC Dallas next season.
Pedrinho
He scored ten goals and added five assists in the regular season, before scoring this ridiculous game-winner in Saturday’s MLS NEXT Pro Cup.
But will that kind of momentum be enough for him to snag a first team deal in 2025? Maybe. The 20-year old was arguably NTSC’s best player in 2024. He signed a one year deal with NTSC ahead of the season with an option year for next year. At the very minimum, we’ll see him back with NTSC in 2025.
