Since last December, FC Dallas has added 12 new names to the roster. Two SuperDraft picks, four Homegrown deals, a couple of loans, a trade and some transfers. Five different paths that are leading to one shared question: who’s actually helping this team win games in 2026?

Some answers have been easy to sort out so far. Santiago Moreno came in as a new Designated Player on a loan deal through the 2026 season. Guys like Herman Johansson, Ran Binyamin and Joaquin Valiente have all had some growing pains in adapting to life in the US. Then you have your rookies who are finding their way.

This discussion below isn’t a final word. Consider it a midterm. We’ll revisit every one of these grades once the 2026 season wraps up and the club starts making roster calls for the 2027 season(s).
