Club Notes
MVP Musa: Petar Musa scored his 21st and 22nd goals of the season in the 83rd and 88th minutes. The Croatian striker now has 56 career goals for FC Dallas and has set a new single-season career high with 22 goals. His 56 goals also tie Raúl Díaz Arce (1996-98) for the third-most goals by a player in their first three MLS seasons. Musa also tied Homegrown Jesús Ferreira for the second-most multigoal games in club history, with nine.
New standard: FC Dallas has scored 58 goals this season, surpassing the club's previous single-season record of 55, set in 1997 and matched in 2014. Petar Musa tied the club record with his stoppage-time equalizer at Houston on Oct. 17, scoring Dallas' 55th goal of the season. Musa broke the record with his 83rd-minute goal against San Jose, then added another five minutes later before Santiago Moreno capped the scoring to extend Dallas' new single-season record to 58 goals.
Daniel’s shutout: Goalkeeper Daniel kept his former club off the scoresheet, making one save in FC Dallas' 3-0 victory over San Jose. Daniel joined Dallas in July after posting a 10-3-2 record in 15 appearances for the Earthquakes.
