BDS Notes:

The further along we get into the MLS season, the more injuries start to pop up here for FC Dallas. For the second week in row, we have Anderson Julio and Bernard Kamungo on the list with lower leg injuries. Julio is still a long-term injury that the club hasn’t quite commented on how long they expect him to be out.

Kamungo on the other hand is expected to be out at least another few weeks here with what I was told is a muscle-related injury. I did see him walking around in the locker room after last week’s game with a soft brace around his left leg. Given how the club operates with these types of injuries, I would imagine we won’t see Kamungo back in the game-day roster until at least June, if not, after the World Cup break.

Ramiro is a new one, and not a surprising one after being hurt in last week’s draw with St. Louis. The veteran midfielder was stretchered off after a rough collision with Sergio Cordova. As of this writing, there is no announced timetable for his return. I hope to dive more into that tomorrow with the club.

For LA, they’ll be on heavy legs this weekend. This is the fourth game in two weeks for the Galaxy. But the bigger news story is seeing defender Jakob Glesnes get upgraded to the questionable side of things with his calf injury.
