I think we’ve all said it a few times over the course of the last few months, but man, what a ride it has been following FC Dallas since early December of 2024. Fast forward two months later to the start of the new season and we’re a completely different looking team under new manager Eric Quill.

We have a new DP, new TAM-level center back, assets that were traded to the team from other MLS clubs, and a slew of new Homegrown players. The roster makeover doesn't fell totally complete, but it may have to do until the summer transfer window.

All of that movement now leads to this, the season opener against a very familiar team, the Houston Dynamo. I promise I won't get back into the weirdness of playing the Dynamo in February in this piece as there are more important things to keep a watch for this weekend.
