FC Dallas forward Petar Musa has been called up to the Croatian men’s national team roster for the nation’s upcoming UEFA Nations League matches in September and October.
Croatia will face Czechia on Saturday, September 26 in the Fortuna Arena in Prague. They’ll then face Spain on Tuesday, September 29 in the Estadio Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán in Seville. They’ll get a World Cup rematch against England on Saturday, October 3 in the Stadion HNK Rijeka in Rijeka. They’ll wrap up the games against Spain on Tuesday, October 6 at the Stadion Poljud in Split.
Due to the MLS schedule, Musa will miss the club’s September 26 game against LAFC.
Musa currently is the leading scorer for FC Dallas this season, with 18 goals, including a brace over the weekend against Sporting Kansas City. He is currently one goal away from tying Jesus Ferreira for the second most goals in the club’s all-time goal-scoring list with 53.
A native of Zagreb, Croatia, Musa has six caps for Croatia, making his national team debut in a 1-1 draw vs. Wales during the European Qualifiers on March 25, 2023. Musa was also called up for Croatia’s November 2025 international window, where he scored his first senior international goal in a 3-1 win vs. the Faroe Islands on Nov. 14 and recorded an assist against Montenegro on Nov. 17. He also represented Croatia at the U-21 and U-18 levels, making a combined 14 appearances.
