FC Dallas announced today two roster updates.
Midfielder Tsiki Ntsabeleng has completed a permanent transfer to Mamelodi Sundowns after the South African club exercised its purchase option following his season-long loan.
Ntsabeleng registered 92 appearances, two goals, and seven assists in all competitions with FC Dallas across four seasons. The Johannesburg native made his professional debut with FC Dallas on Feb. 26, 2022, against Toronto FC in the 73rd minute. He scored his first professional goal on April 23, 2022 against Houston Dynamo. Ntsabeleng was drafted 28th overall in the 2022 MLS SuperDraft out of Oregon State University.
The club has also announced goalkeeper Brooks Thompson's loan from Lexington SC has expired, and he has returned to the USL Championship club.

We won’t spend time on Thompson, given that he never earned any minutes in a Dallas uniform. Instead, we’ll discuss the brief bit with Ntsabeleng who earns a full transfer to Mamelodi Sundowns.
There is no money reported on this one, but given that Ntsabeleng was earning roughly $350k with FC Dallas, you could give a fair estimate that a transfer figure was probably somewhere in the 500-800k range. Decent bit of business, but nothing massive.
The move does not open up any senior or international roster slots. Ntsabeleng had been on the unavailable side of the roster due to his loan.
The next one we need to keep an eye out for is Enes Sali, who has been on loan in Saudi Arabia. That loan technically expired at the end of June, but there is a good chance we’ll see it extended another year.
