FC Dallas Homegrowns Jaidyn Contreras and Josh Torquato have both been named to the U.S. roster for the 2026 Concacaf U-20 Championship, which runs in Mexico from late July into early August.
The U.S. holds camp July 16-21, then opens play July 25. Both will be unavailable for both North Texas SC and FC Dallas matches during that period.
For Contreras, it’s call-up number two in 2026. The winger signed his Homegrown deal on January 6 during the club’s Homegrown Day and has been earning the looks: 11 appearances with North Texas SC this season with a goal and two assists.
Torquato also lands his second U-19 call of the year after debuting in the setup during the March window. He’s the club’s 44th Homegrown and has already built an MLS resume. He debuted with the first team last summer, in a July 14 win over Sporting Kansas City, and was the 7th youngest player to start an MLS match for FC Dallas. This year, he’s logged nine appearances with NTSC.
The draw put the US in Group A, opening against Haiti on July 25, then El Salvador on July 28, and closing group play against Cuba on July 31. All three matches will be played at Estadio Universitario BUAP in Puebla.
