The window is now shut.

On Wednesday night, the MLS primary transfer window closed. For those who need the refresher, the window was open from January 31 all the way until late last night.

Several MLS clubs were active into the late hours with Austin picking up Robert Taylor from Inter Miami, San Jose adding Noel Buck and Dejuan Jones, St. Louis added Zande Silva from Atlanta, and RSL adding Willy Agada from SKC.

FC Dallas on the other hand sat quiet. No additional moves made to the roster and now Andre Zanotta and his staff will have to wait until the summer window opens up on July 18.

So let's break down what FC Dallas did do in this primary transfer window and what they will need to address down the road in the summer window.

Cash was spent

I know technically FC Dallas made A LOT of moves in the offseason, but we're only going to focus on the moves made during the window timeframe. The club made four incoming moves, while loaning out three players (Diego Pepi, Herbert Endeley and Enes Sali) in this time.

In a three-day period, FC Dallas added two huge pieces for this season in Osaze Urhoghide and Lucho Acosta, followed up with a depth piece in Álvaro Augusto. A couple of weeks later, the club wrapped up its transfer season moves with Kaick.
