As well as FC Dallas has been on the injury front in 2025, the club has hit its first speed bump in that department this week.

According to Garrett Melcer, FC Dallas left back Marco Farfan will be out two months after undergoing fasciotomy surgery on both legs to correct a chronic issue.

Melcer says Farfan has been struggling with the issue since last season.

FC Dallas is no stranger to this surgery and recovery. This is the same procedure Pedrinho had last year and Brandon Servania had in 2018.

Quick BDS Take

As I discussed earlier today, Nolan Norris stepped in well for Farfan last weekend when the club was giving him some rest. You could easily say that Norris passed 'the test' of being a starter at left back. He will get a gauntlet of a test coming up in the next two months with four out of the next five on the road.

It is possible that FC Dallas manager Eric Quill opts to split Norris' time at left back with someone else like maybe rookie Enzo Newman or possible someone else.
