FC Dallas picked up its second straight shutout in a 1-0 win over LAFC. The shutout was the club’s seventh this season in league play.
Joaquin Valiente picked up his 13th assist of the season when he curled a ball into the penalty box in the 34th minute that connected with Osaze Urhoghide. The header was Urhoghide’s second of the season and his first since April.
The visitors nearly had a game-tying goal in the second half when Armindo Sieb was able to poke in a rebound off a corner kick. The center official later confirmed that Sieb fouled Dallas keeper Jonathan Sirois on the play.
Sirois came up big late in stoppage time with another save from close distance to help preserve his second shutout of the year.

57’ - Nearly a second! Farrington received a ball over the top of the LAFC defense and was able to dribble in on goal and beat Lloris, but the play was called back for offside.
73’ - Goal LAFC….but a foul in the box will waive off the goal. Wow. No video review to overturn, the center official confirmed the foul after Sieb found an equalizer.
89’ - Solid chance to put it away as Sarver and Job hook up on a counter attack. Sarver laid it off for Moore who was able to get a good look on goal that forced a save from Lloris.

Eric Quill waited until around the 75th minute to bring on his first sub, as Sam Sarver came on for Farrington. Six minutes later, Quill brought on newcomer Daniel Job and Patrickson Delgado for Santiago Moreno and Joaquin Valiente.
