North Texas SC secured a spot in the MLS NEXT Pro Western Conference finals on Saturday night, thanks to a 4-1 win over the Tacoma Defiance.

Four different players scored for hosts including Pedrinho, Anthony Rameriez, Carl Sainté, and Logan Farrington. Despite being reduced to 10 men after the hour mark, NTSC held on to continue its dominant season.

The visitors got on the board first with a goal from Chris Aquino in the 18th minute. North Texas tied it up quickly two minutes later on a goal from midfielder Pedrinho. Diego Garcia sliced up the Tacoma defense as Pedrinho scored his 11th goal of the season.

Shortly after halftime, NTSC extended their lead as Herbert Endeley placed a perfect ball through the Tacoma defense where Logan Farrington was there to hammer it home at the far post. The goal was Farrington’s first with NTSC.

Haitian international Carl Sainte extended North Texas SC's lead to 3-1 in the 66th minute after finishing off his own rebound.

NTSC was reduced to ten men in the 70th minute as  Tyshawn Rose was ejected, but Antino Lopez followed suit five minutes later for the Defiance.

NTSC got their final goal of the night in the 77th minute. The goal marked the most goals scored by North Texas in franchise playoff history. It also marks the most individual goals scored in a single playoff game for North Texas in MLS NEXT Pro Playoffs. 

North Texas SC continues its historic playoff run as it hosts the MLS NEXT Pro Western Conference final for the first time in franchise history versus the winner of The Town FC and St. Louis CITY2. The match will be played on Saturday, November 2, at 7:30 p.m. CT from Choctaw Stadium.
