After traveling over 8,000 miles in the last two weeks, FC Dallas is back at home tonight to take on the Philadelphia Union.

Both teams have their lineups in, so let’s discuss them ahead of tonight’s match.

Quick thoughts

Eric Quill is back on the bench after serving a one-game suspension on Wednesday night in Ohio. He’s got a 4-3-3 diamond formation going on tonight.

There are a couple of changes from Wednesday night’s group, the first being Lalas Abubakar coming in for the injured Osaze Urhoghide. He’ll be in the middle of the defense with Sebastien Ibeagha. Both Marco Farfan and Shaq Moore remain on the wings like they were on Wednesday night, with Maarten Paes in goal.

In the midfield, we’re going to see Patrickson Delgado come into the mix with the Brazilian duo Ramiro and Kaick. They’ll be in support of Lucho Acosta on the attacking side of things.

Up top, we’re going to finally get to see Anderson Julio and Petar Musa together in this formation. Both were key to the club’s come back in Ohio on Wednesday night.

Who is on the bench?

Quill has plenty of options tonight off the bench. Sebastian Lletget is back on the bench for the first time in a couple of months. Along with him are Michael Collodi, Show, Álvaro Augusto, Nolan Norris, Pedrinho, Tsiki Ntsabeleng, Logan Farrington, and Bernard Kamungo.

Who we could see off the bench

I think you could easily put Pedrinho at some point in the second half to help drive the attack with Acosta. Along with him, Farrington and Kamungo could see minutes as the game goes on, while Show could come in to help the defensive side of things.
