BDS Notes:

Yeah, let’s take a moment to acknowledge the fact that FC Dallas heads into Decision Day with zero players on the injury list. I get that the injury lists have been a bit odd this year in how the club releases or sometimes edits details, but whatever the staff has been doing to rehab players this season has been on point.

Okay, let’s discuss this weekend’s lineup a bit. With everyone healthy enough to go, Eric Quill has plenty of options.

We’ve had a lot of rotation in recent weeks due to the heavier game load. After having a full week of training, we have to think that Quill is going to finally bust out his best-possible lineup against the Rapids. Right? Riiiight?

While I don’t know if this is truly the best group for this club, I do think it makes the most sense. You get speed up top with Daniel Job and Bernard Kamungo (yeah, my graphic doesn’t have them on the same side but they would be in this scenario). You get creative play with Joaquin Valiente, who can set up Petar Musa.

In the back, as much as I want to see Nolan Norris in the lineup, I think the defensive three is better with Shaq Moore, Osaze Urhoghide and Sebastien Ibeagha. I plan to dive more into this thought next week when the team is off between Decision Day and the start of the playoffs, but I think that group is a bit stronger due to the experience each player brings.

The main question I do have going into this game will be whether or not we see any minutes out of Logan Farrington, who has been out injured with a foot injury since the loss at Charlotte about a month ago. I have to think getting him at least 15-20 minutes in this one is key for ensuring he’ll be ready to go for the playoffs.

Here is what I am thinking for tomorrow’s lineup.
