After a stellar season with North Texas SC, Sali is getting some international duty to end 2024.

FC Dallas midfielder Enes Sali has been called up to the Romania U-20 men’s youth national team for a pair of November matches in Europe.

The Romania U-20 squad will play the Portugal U-20 team on Thursday, Nov. 14 at 11AM CT from Eugen Popescu Stadium in Târgoviște, Romania. They will then play Italy U-20 on Tuesday, Nov. 19 at 7AM CT at Stadio Curva Fiesole in Florence, Italy. 

In 2024, Sali was a constant figure with FC Dallas' MLS NEXT Pro affiliate team North Texas SC accumulating 25 MLS NEXT Pro regular season appearances scoring eight goals and assisting six times. Sali helped North Texas SC win the MLS NEXT Pro Cup on Saturday, Nov. 9 versus Philadelphia Union II from Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas.

Sali made his FC Dallas senior team debut in Leagues Cup versus LIGA MX side FC Juárez on July 31. 

On the International stage, Sali is the youngest player to make his Romania national team debut after appearing for the Tricolorii on November 14, 2021 in a World Cup qualifier against Liechtenstein at age 15 years, 8 months and 22 days. Sali represented Romania’s U-19 side in the UEFA Euro U-19 Championship Qualifiers matchups against Finland, San Marino and the Czech Republic.
