Saturday's loss to the Seattle Sounders seemed like more of the same that we've seen from FC Dallas. It felt almost like a carbon copy of the loss at home to the Vancouver Whitecaps from a few weeks ago.

Due to my travel schedule this week, I will be combining some of my usual post-game posts into one. Which is probably for the best given how poorly FC Dallas played in their loss to Seattle.

I'm going to also keep it pretty simple here since there wasn't a lot of good to examine from this one.

Where art thou midfield?

One thing about having players like Lucho Acosta and Petar Musa is that when they are on their game, it can be really good to watch. We saw their combination play at work in Colorado, we saw it again in Salt Lake, and again in Atlanta. The goals came in those games and the pair looked really dangerous together.

But when one or both of them are off on a night, everything seemingly dries up around them. Teams that have figured out how to contain one or both of them know that now.
