The MLS SuperDraft has been in the books for a little while now. FC Dallas used their three selections to snag some prospects.
Unlike previous years, FC Dallas didn’t make any draft day trades to move up or down in the draft like they did in the 2024 SuperDraft to snag Logan Farrington. Instead, they stayed put with the 11th pick in each round.
We discussed the three new players briefly when they were drafted but let’s dive into what each could bring once preseason starts in January.
Enzo Newman
The first rounds election came once again from Oregon State. Why does FC Dallas have a big interest in players from Oregon State these days? Hard to say at this point but they have hit the jackpot in some ways with Farrington and Tsiki Ntsabeleng. They're hoping that Newman is another player in that mold.
