The calendar has flipped over to December and with that is the return of the rumor mill.
FC Dallas was able to hold off offers from Argentine giants Boca Juniors earlier this year for Designated Player Alan Velasco, but it appears those offers are coming in again as the winter transfer window is set to reopen in the coming weeks.
A new report out of South America states that Boca Juniors has submitted a new offer and Velasco’s team has already accepted the terms.
The big thing in that tweet is seeing that FC Dallas has ‘promised the player an exit this window.’ When discussing the move back in August with FC Dallas’ Andre Zanotta, he stated that the team worked very hard to hold onto Velasco for the 2024 season as they anticipated his return to the field after coming off an ACL injury in 2023. So, seeing that the club is good with his exit this window is really intriguing.
