FC Dallas wrapped up its preseason camp in Portugal on Thursday morning with a 3-2 friendly loss against former FC Dallas Homegrown product Justin Che and Brondby.
Logan Farrington scored a penalty kick in the second half to go along with an own goal from Brondby in the loss.

Quick Notes:
Formation/lineup stuff: According to the club’s social media, the club made three swaps at half and then an eight-man line change about 20 minutes later. The lineup card above reflects who was on the field for the final 20 minutes. According to Garret Melcer, the club played a 4-4-2 for that first 20-ish minutes of the second half.
Minor changes from last weekend: Shaq Moore and Bernard Kamungo started over Enzo Newman and Pedrinho. It may be safe to say that first half lineup could be what we should expect next week against Houston (and potentially again in Houston for the opening game of the regular season).
High press = own goal: Two words we’re not totally used to hearing being said about FC Dallas in the same sentence: high and press. But hey, I’m all for a team that pushes up the field more rather than sitting back in possession in their own defensive end.
Up next: FC Dallas returns home to battle their Texas Derby rivals Houston Dynamo next Friday at 11 am (if there is a web stream for that one we will share it with you all).
