What a difference a week makes, huh?

FC Dallas picked up their first win of the 2023 season as they downed the LA Galaxy 3-1. Jesus Ferreira and Alan Velasco each found the back of the net, providing some good momentum for the duo as the club hits the road this weekend in Vancouver.

Comment: Jesús Ferreira just despises the Galaxy. Just outright spiteful stuff from him every time they play it seems like. He scored a brace against LA for the second straight year and Dallas responded very nicely after last week’s strugglebus in attack, rightfully earning a 3-1 win. For whatever reason, the best version of Nico Estevez’s Dallas side always pops up against the Galaxy.

Comment: Two goals for Jesús Ferreira against the Galaxy, three points for Dallas and we could find ourselves in "he's not just a one-season wonder!" territory soon, despite nobody actually calling the forward a one-season wonder.
