FC Dallas looks to add another positive result to its already impressive road record in 2025, as they take on San Diego FC.

Both teams have their lineups in, so let’s discuss them ahead of tonight’s match.

Quick thoughts

Oh, hello 3-5-3. Or 3-4-2-1.

Either way, this is what sparked the turnaround in Miami last week and it is intriguing to see it from the jump tonight in San Diego.

Maarten Paes starts out in goal as he looks for his second straight shutout. The three-man group in front of him will be Osaze Urhoghide, Sebastien Ibeagha and Lalas Abubakar.

The midfield is an interesting mix with Anderson Julio and Shaq Moore on the wings, while the Brazilian duo of Ramiro and Kaick are in the middle.

The Dallas attack sees the duo of Pedrinho and Lucho Acosta sit behind Logan Farrington.

Who is on the bench?

Quill’s bench is getting interesting here as the roster is getting healthy. There is still no Paxton Pomykal or Petar Musa (they'll likely both be available next week) but Quill has Bernard Kamungo, Diego Garcia, Tarik Scott, Patrickson Delgado, Show, Tsiki Ntsabeleng, Nolan Norris and Alvaro Augusto. Should something happen to Paes, Michael Collodi is available.

Who we could see off the bench

Given how there are two games next week to contend with, I think it is fair to say we'll see a few subs in this one. Should the attack need a boost, we'll see Kamungo, Scott or Ntsabeleng. Defensively, Norris and Show seem like solid bets off the bench late in the match. I'd still love to see Garcia earn his first appearance with FCD.
