After nearly a month away on the road in league play, FC Dallas is back at home tonight when they host Real Salt Lake.

Both teams have their lineups in, so let’s discuss them ahead of tonight’s match.

Quick thoughts

Eric Quill is sticking with a 3-4-3, huh?

It’s a bold move considering how bad it was in San Diego. Maarten Paes returns to the goal after getting some rest on Wednesday night in the US Open Cup.

His three-man defense includes Osaze Urhoghide, Sebastien Ibeagha, and Lalas Abubakar.

The midfield in front of them sees Nolan Norris and Anderson Julio on the wings, with Show and Kaick. Show is in the match for Ramiro, who is suspended tonight for yellow card accumulation.

In the attack, Bernard Kamungo gets the nod up top, with Tsiki Ntsabeleng and Lucho Acosta.

Who is on the bench?

Quill has a pretty intriguing bench tonight with Petar Musa and Paxton Pomykal both on it. This marks the first time in over 400 days that Pomykal is on the bench.

Along with them are Shaq Moore, Patrickson Delgado, Pedrinho, Alvaro Augusto, Logan Farrington, Diego Garcia and Michael Collodi.

Who we could see off the bench

Given the names available, it makes sense to see Musa, Moore, Pedrinho and possibly, crosses fingers, Pomykal gets a short run late in the match.
