FC Dallas Homegrown forward Jesús Ferreira has been named to MLSsoccer.com’s Team of the Matchday for Matchday 2 after scoring two goals in FC Dallas’ comeback 3-1 win against LA Galaxy on Saturday night.
This is Ferreira’s first Team of the Matchday appearance this season and 13th of his career1 since 2019.
Ferreira scored his first two goals of the 2023 season during the 56th and 64th minutes in front of a sold-out crowd. The brace was his seventh multi-goal game in his MLS career.
He is now third in FC Dallas’ all-time goal scorers with 38 goals in 116 games.
