BDS Notes:
FC Dallas enters the final week before the World Cup break with the a bit of news on the availability front, though I do take it with a grain of salt since FC Dallas is the only club with listed players being out for international duty.
The report says that the club will be without Petar Musa, who is off to join his teammates in Croatia ahead of some final tuneup matches for the World Cup next month. Croatia will play two preparation matches against Belgium on Tuesday, June 2, at 11 a.m. CT at Stadion HNK Rijeka in Rijeka, Croatia, and against Slovenia on Sunday, June 7, at 1:45 p.m. CT at Stadion Varteks in Varaždin, Croatia.
Deedson, who was called up by Haiti, is also listed on the report as unavailable.
My gut tells me this may be in error, so again, grain of salt on those two. I was not told earlier this week that either would be unavailable for Saturday’s game in Colorado.
On the injury side of things, Osaze Urhoghide is back on the questionable portion of the injury list. He’s been on and off that portion of the injury report in recent weeks, so the World Cup break is coming at a good time for him.
On the other side, Colorado is dealing with a pair injuries of their own heading into the weekend. Both Ted Ku-DiPietro and Zack Steffen remain out for this weekend with injuries.
The Rapids will also be without head coach Matt Wells this weekend, as he is suspended for yellow card accumulation.
