Let’s be real: most people in the Dallas-Fort Worth area are not going to be inside AT&T Stadium for these nine World Cup matches. Tickets are expensive. Demand is at an insane level. And if we’re being totally honest, the logistics of getting to Arlington aren’t exactly great.
The good news? You don’t need a ticket to have a great World Cup experience in this city. DFW has one of the most underrated soccer bar scenes in the country, and the city is spending all summer proving it. Whether you’re a local who wants to live and die with the USMNT over cold beer, or a visiting fan from another country looking for your people, there’s a spot for you somewhere in the Metroplex.
Here’s where to find it.
🏟️ The Official FIFA Fan Festival at Fair Park: Start Here
Before we get into bars and breweries, there’s a big free option worth knowing about. The Dallas FIFA Fan Festival runs at Fair Park - home of the State Fair of Texas - from June 11 through July 19. All 34 match days are covered here.

It’s free, it’ll have live match screenings, and it’s about as close to “stadium atmosphere without a stadium ticket” as you’re going to get.
Fair Park is a massive venue and it’s going to be a legitimate scene. This is your first call for group outings, casual viewing, or if you want to soak in the atmosphere without committing to a bar’s cover charge.
🏟️ In Frisco: FC Dallas Soccer Celebration
If you want to stay close to the FC Dallas stadium, the city of Frisco and the club are teaming up for a free 34-day event program that will transform Simpson Plaza into a hotbed of soccer action.
Located in front of Frisco City Hall and adjacent to Toyota Stadium and the National Soccer Hall of Fame, the FC Dallas Soccer Celebration will bring fans together in the heart of Frisco for music, special appearances, giveaways, local food vendors, beverages and interactive experiences as well as live viewings of matches on large-scale screens with multiple seating areas.
Free tickets will be required for entry.
🍺 Peticolas Brewing: The Soccer-First Option
If you read our Dallas Brewery guide, you already know this place. Peticolas is arguably the most soccer-committed brewery in Dallas. The logo itself resembles a football club crest, and the taproom is home base for the Dallas Beer Guardians, the official FC Dallas supporters group.
The three-level layout includes foosball, ping pong, and communal seating. Peticolas has a history of releasing World Cup-themed beers for past tournaments and this year is no different.
This is the spot if you want to watch with people who actually give a damn about soccer - not just people who showed up because it was on TV.

🇬🇧 The Londoner Pub: For the English (and Anyone Who Acts Like It)
Addison has quietly become one of the best neighborhoods in the metro for soccer watching, and The Londoner is the big reason why. The venue is deeply rooted in English pub tradition and it’s one of the most natural soccer environments in Dallas.
Doors open as early as 6am on Saturdays during European match windows to accommodate supporters who treat morning kickoffs with full seriousness. If you’re an England supporter, or you enjoy watching soccer in a proper pub atmosphere, this is your spor for the summer.

🍻 Harwood Arms: British Vibes, Deep Ellum-Adjacent
Harwood Arms is a British-style pub and official bar for many Chelsea FC fans in Dallas. They’ve committed to broadcasting every single FIFA World Cup 2026 match, with extra TVs being installed to handle the volume.
The library of scotch and whiskey is worth the visit on its own. They’ve been known to do block parties on big match days, so keep an eye on their social feeds as the tournament kicks off.
🐕 Backyard Dallas (Deep Ellum): Outdoor Watching Done Right
Backyard Dallas brings a 12,500-square foot open-air, climate-controlled space (which is perfect in June) right in the heart of Deep Ellum. With 20-foot LED screens and interactive games like ping pong, corn hole and shuffleboard.
This is your spot for group gatherings where not everyone is a die-hard. It is fun, social, and the outdoor setup means you’re not dying in the Texas summer heat.
🏙️ Texas Live! (Arlington): The Matchday Pre-Game
If you managed to score tickets to a match and want to maximize the day, Texas Live! in Arlington has a giant LED screen and runs special themed events around each match. It’s right in Arlington’s entertainment district, within walking distance from the stadium, and it’s going to be absolutely packed on match days.
Fair warning: you could easily consider this a tourist trap. But sometimes That’s exactly what you want when 50,000 people are descending on the same zip code.

⏰ A Few Things Worth Knowing Before You Go
On the heat: It’s June and July in Texas. If you’re planning outdoor viewing, go somewhere climate-controlled or go early in the morning. Summer in Dallas is not the time to be heroic about patios.
On early kickoffs: Some group stage days will span multiple time slots, including some late morning kicks offs. The dedicated soccer bars/pubs/breweries are your best bets for viewing. Big sports bars in town are going to be hit or miss.
On reservations: Make them. If you can lock down a table at a bar ahead of time. Do it. Most places will be slammed for games. Call ahead, check social media, or show up 90 minutes early to be safe.

🧠 The Bottom Line
You don’t need a ticket to AT&T Stadium to have a great World Cup. Dallas has the bars, the beer, the outdoor spaces, and if you pick the right spot, the best soccer culture to make watching from a barstool feel like an event. Pick a spot that fits your crowd, get there early, and hydrate.
