I know I talk a lot about how Major League Soccer seasons are long. Usually I throw the classic "marathon and not a sprint" line and following Saturday's 1-0 loss to the Vancouver Whitecaps, it was a harsh reminder of how long a season could possibly be this year for FC Dallas.

Not only did Vancouver come in and give FC Dallas their second straight home loss of the year, they continued their recent dominance over them with yet another win in Frisco.

Let's get into Saturday's loss and discuss exactly how the attack dried up.

All bark, no bite

FC Dallas manager Eric Quill didn't waste a lot of time during Saturday's press conference with the media to say that there wasn't a lot of good against Vancouver.

I asked directly to begin the press conference why the attack dried up. I had ideas as to why it was nonexistent on the night, but I wanted to see his response.
