Losing at home really does suck. In MLS, you have to win your home games or at a minimum pick up a draw to keep afloat in the playoff race. After six home games this season, FC Dallas isn’t doing either really, with a 1-4-1 record at Toyota Stadium.

We’re weirdly immune to winning at home right now.

The one real positive, if you even want to call it that, from FC Dallas’ embarrassing 2-0 loss to the Houston Dynamo is that we don’t have a ton of time to dwell on the result. Two games this week and two games next week will really put this season into full perspective.

The loss didn’t just give Houston El Capitán for the first time in a couple of years; it also saw them pick up their first win in over a decade.

Let’s dive into this one a bit to figure out what exactly is going on with FC Dallas.
