It has been over four months since we last had a home regular season game at Toyota Stadium. FC Dallas returns to Frisco this weekend as they host their Brimstone Cup rivals, the Chicago Fire.

FC Dallas secured four points in two road games to begin the season, a fresh start for new manager Eric Quill. Last year, FC Dallas only managed one road win away all season, so the bar has already been raised for what this team can do when they're not in Frisco.

We haven't seen the Fire in Frisco since the 2018 season, so let's dive into some quick items that we'll be keeping a watch over tomorrow night when the two old rivals face off.

Keep feeding Musa and Acosta

It is hard not to be entertained through the first two games of the season with this attacking group FC Dallas has at the moment. We assumed things could go well when the club landed Lucho Acosta, but I have to admit that I wasn't expecting things to pick up this quickly.

As I discussed on Tuesday in our stats recap, the team is putting up some solid xG numbers through two games. The movement is much better going forward from this group and as they continue to pick up minutes with one another, the connections are only going to get better.
