North Texas SC signed defender Isaiah Kaakoush to a new one-year MLS NEXT Pro contract ahead of the 2026 season.
Kaakoush signed his first professional contract with North Texas SC on May 9, 2024, joining the club from Barça Residency Academy USA in Casa Grande, Arizona. He scored his first career professional goal in his debut against SKC II on Sept. 29, 2024.
During the 2025 season, Kaakoush made 12 appearances, including five starts, logging 523 minutes with North Texas SC. He was selected to the 2025 MLS NEXT All-Star Game and was named captain for Team West. Kaakoush won the 2024 MLS NEXT Pro Cup and the 2025 MLS NEXT Pro Invitational with North Texas SC.
The defender is currently recovering from a torn ACL.
Internationally, Kaakoush represents the U.S. Men’s Youth National Team. The Maricopa, Arizona, native was called up to the U.S. U-17 Men’s National Team in March 2025 for a camp in Costa Rica, where he made his debut on March 24, 2025. Kaakoush has also earned call-ups to the U.S. U-15 Men’s National Team and featured in three friendly matches against England, Spain, and Japan.
