BDS Notes:

So, no massive changes for another week for Eric Quill's FC Dallas squad. Paxton Pomykal and Maarten Paes once again are the lone representatives on the list. I'm still being told the same potential return timeline for both, which is sometime in September. The key word there is 'potential' for both.

Take that what you will, but Paes has already announced he won't be part of the Indonesian roster for their September FIFA window. That should be an indication that we won't see him until at least mid-September (Dallas has a game during that window on September 6th in St. Louis).

The good news here is not seeing Petar Musa on the list at all. He was removed at halftime last week against Austin with a hamstring injury. The club pulled him as a precautionary measure, and that appears to be a wise call with him available for tomorrow night.

Last thing to note for FC Dallas this week and I missed it last week, but U22 winger Enes Sali is back in the US and has been playing with North Texas SC (he started last week's game). By my count based on the club's roster profile from May (and based on all of the moves in the last two months), FC Dallas shouldn't require an additional international slot to move Sali back to the senior roster if they choose to do so before the Sepetember roster freeze. I hope to track more down this weekend about Sali's status with the club.

LAFC on the other hand has been dealing with veteran center back Aaron Long's season long injury for a few weeks now. That likely means we could see Nkosi Tafari make his return to Toyota Stadium tomorrow night. I'm very curious how the fanbase will respond to seeing him again.

2 Endeley and Newman aren't officially on the club's SEI list but they're both technically going to be out for the rest of the year.
