If you are like me, you saw the MLS schedule release last week and thought immediately how you can fit a road game or two into your schedule next year.

I know I personally have the travel bug these days. I’ve been trying to go to as many MLS venues for FC Dallas games as I possible can these days. I’ve done the Texas games. I’ve been to Kansas City.

Now it is time to see some other places.

Next season gives us some decent weekends for travel. While the usual spots for FC Dallas to hit up in the Western Conference are all there, I only have two conference games on the road that I would consider making a trip for in 2025.

Aside from that, I would recommend trying to visit one of the three Eastern Conference opponents in 2025. After FC Dallas went to New England, New York, Toronto, and D.C. last year, I believe the three road trips against the Eastern Conference are even better in 2025.

Here are the five road trips worth taking in 2025 for FC Dallas fans:

Atlanta United

April 5 - Mercedes-Benz Stadium

The Five Stripes are in a big rebuild this winter after a few disappointing seasons in a row. I fully expect them to make some big splashes this winter, along with a good coaching hire. All that to say, the game in Atlanta should be a ton of fun from an entertainment perspective.

The Benz is a beautiful stadium, too. Aside from the turf, it does have soccer at its core. The fans are well positioned to see the action and each game there has felt like an event since Atlanta came into MLS.

Currently, round trip deals are showing for about $320 on airlines like Southwest. So, it could be a very affordable trip for some. I know it is also one that you could technically make the drive out for, too (I have family that make a drive to Atlanta once a year and back, so its certainly doable).
