FC Dallas is getting ready to take on the Vancouver Whitecaps this afternoon at BC Place. Nico Estevez has his lineup set for today’s game. Here are some thoughts on his starting eleven.

One change

The main change from last week is Sebastian Ibeagha is in for Jose Martinez. Head coach Nico Estevez said on Wednesday that he planned to rotate the center back duo this season, so it appears that he is sticking to that plan. Ibeagha didn’t look great in the season opener next to Martinez, so this could be an interesting duo with Tafari.

Who we could see in the second half

Look for some second half changes to either help spice up the attack with Jader Obrian and Tsiki Ntsabeleng, or on the other end to help lock up the game with Martinez and Geovane Jesus as defensive options.

Today is Jesus Ferreira’s 100th career start.1

Vancouver has some rotation

Look at that Christmas tree. Sounds like Raposo has won their left back spot while Brown, Schopf and White all return to the lineup this weekend for the Caps.
