FC Dallas has now dropped a third home game on the 2025 season, losing 1-0 on Saturday evening to the Seattle Sounders.

The visitors started out the game strong with plenty of chances, including a second minute shot from Pedro de la Vega. Fifteen minutes later, the game's lone goal was scored by Danny Musovski. It was de la Vega who cut inside the penalty area and unleashed a shot that forced Maarten Paes to make a stop but de la Vega's effort hit the post and Musovski was there to put home the rebound.

Dallas struggled to create any real chances of their own on the night and had to wait until the second half to see anything on Seattle's goal. The first attempt came off a free kick in the 69th minute from Lucho Acosta. The Argentine's shot curled just wide from the post.

Anderson Julio had an attempt blocked off the line in the first minute of stoppage time by Nouhou.

Instant Reaction: The play at home this season has been anything nothing short of terrible. Either the energy isn't there from the start and they're giving up goals too early in matches that then force a lot of response and grind. Seattle didn't exactly light the game up with chances either. In a way, it felt like another version of the game we saw against them at home last season. Just a rough outing that was tough to watch from start to finish.

About the Subs: Eric Quill had to go to his bench a bit earlier than he would have liked with Petar Musa going out at halftime with an ankle injury. Logan Farrington came on for him after the break. Following that, Quill brought on Leo Chu and Show at the 58th minute mark, for Kaick and Patrickson Delgado. The final subs came at the 75th minute, Pedrinho and Tsiki Ntsabeleng came on for Nolan Norris and Ramiro.

Man of the Match: Hard to pin anyone down in this performance, but give it to Osaze Urhoghide.

Where does this fit into the season: The loss drops FC Dallas down into eighth place. With three road games coming up, things are going to get very interesting for this group.

What’s next for FC Dallas: The club hits the road for three straight weeks, starting with a northern trip to Minnesota United next Saturday.
