Valiente shines: Midfielder Joaquín Valiente scored the ensuing second goal in the 87th minute of the match from a Petar Musa assist. Valiente leads the team in assists (12), key passes (33) and game-winning assists (3). With a goal and an assist Saturday, Valiente extended his goal-contribution streak to four consecutive matches, the longest of his MLS career.

Farrington’s goal: Forward Logan Farrington scored Dallas’ first goal of the night in added time of the first half. The goal marked Farrington’s ninth of the season and 18th of his FC Dallas MLS career. Shaq Moore provided the assist, his second of the season. Dallas is 6-1-1 this season when Farrington scores. 

Daniel returns: Goalkeeper Daniel returned in goal for Dallas after missing seven regular season games due to a lower body injury. The Brazilian made four saves in his home debut with the club. Since signing with FC Dallas, Daniel appeared in two matches at Portland Timbers and San Diego.
