FC Dallas is getting ready to take on the LA Galaxy tonight at Toyota Stadium. The lineups are out and FC Dallas has a couple of changes ahead of their second game of the season from last weekend.
Two changes
Head coach Nico Estevez has made two big changes to his defense with Nkosi Tafari being placed in the back line over Sebastian Ibeagha, who had a pretty rough debut last weekend against Minnesota. The second change sees Edwin Cerrillo make his first start of 2023 in place of Facundo Quignon.
New face on the bench
This weekend also sees Sam Junqua make his debut with the club on the bench. Junqua was brought in recently in a deal with the Houston Dynamo for the full back. Expect Junqua to only sub in for Marco Farfan as Geovane Jesus is also on the bench and will likely come on for Ema Twumasi in the second half.
Who we could see in the second half
A lot depends on how this game goes but I’d imagine we’ll see Jesus, Obrian, Ntsabeleng and Mulato in this one off the bench.

I’d still focus on that defense that gave up a lot of goals in 2022. Chris Mavinga came in from Toronto to help out with that but will he be enough? I wouldn’t bank on it just yet.
