FC Dallas vs AV Alta FC: Lineup notes 📝

The US Open Cup run for FC Dallas is here as the club hosts USL League One side AV Alta FC.

Both teams have their lineups in, so let’s discuss them ahead of tonight’s match.

Quick thoughts

We assumed there would be some rotation tonight with the RSL game on Saturday. But, FC Dallas manager Eric Quill has opted to go with a mostly first choice lineup tonight. Likely as a way to get some key players back into form.

There are a few changes though from last week's group that got blown out in San Diego. Logan Farrington starts up top in a 4-3-3 with Bernard Kamungo, with Lucho Acosta in support.

The midfield trio sees the Brazilian duo of Kaick and Ramiro, with Tsiki Ntsabeleng earning a start tonight.

Defensively, Michael Collodi makes his second start in goal. In front of him, Nolan Norris and Shaq Moore are on the wings with Lalas Abubakar and Osaze Urhoghide in the middle.

Who is on the bench?

Unfortunately, no Paxton Pomykal or Petar Musa on the bench tonight. But Quill does have Maarten Paes, Pedrinho, Augusto Alvaro, Show, Anderson Julio, Diego Garcia and Tarik Scott.

Who we could see off the bench

I discussed earlier today a few players I would like to see in this one, there is still a good chance for Garcia and Scott to get some minutes, along with Pedrinho, Show or Julio.
