FC Dallas midfielder Kaick Ferreira has been named to the 2026 MLS 22 Under 22 list, ranking No. 22 in the annual player rankings, the league announced Tuesday.
Kaick has appeared in 29 matches for FC Dallas this season, scoring four goals, the third-most on the team. He scored his fourth goal of the season on Oct. 14, helping Dallas secure a 1-0 home win over Seattle Sounders FC.
Kaick earned a spot on the MLS Team of the Matchday 12 bench after scoring the game-winning goal against Real Salt Lake on May 9.

“Kaick has continued to develop and show his quality since joining FC Dallas,” Chief Soccer Officer André Zanotta said. “He has become an important player for us, and his ability to impact games at his age is something that makes this recognition well deserved. We are happy to see him included among the best young players in MLS, and we believe he still has a lot of room to grow and an exciting future ahead of him. He has worked hard to earn his opportunities and continues to show consistency in his performances. We are proud of the progress he has made and look forward to seeing him continue to contribute to the team.”

Kaick joined FC Dallas in March 2025 via transfer from Grêmio Foot-Ball Porto Alegrense. In his debut season, he made 27 appearances, logged 1,668 minutes and scored two goals. He scored his first goal for Dallas on July 19, 2025, against St. Louis CITY SC before adding his second on Decision Day against Vancouver Whitecaps FC on Oct. 18.
Before joining Dallas, Kaick spent much of his career with Grêmio’s U-20 team, scoring three goals in 33 appearances from 2022-24. He helped the club win the 2023 Campeonato Gaúcho U-20 title before making his senior-team debut on Feb. 25, 2025, against Ypiranga FC in the Campeonato Gaúcho. He entered the match in the 82nd minute.

Quick BDS Take
Honestly, I did not expect FC Dallas to get any player on this list for a third straight year. I thought that Kaick's recent emergence of being one of the club's best players this season was going to be too late for the voters to see for their lists.
Still, only having one player on the list after years of basically dominating the thing is another sign that the club has a long way to go to get back to its roots as a club that churns out quality young players.
One other note, FC Dallas did technically have a second player on the list. Nashville SC's Matthew Corcoran came in on the list at the number 21 spot, just above Kaick. Corcoran spent time in the FC Dallas academy and with North Texas SC before signing a professional contract with USL-C club Birmingham Legion.
