The calendar moves quickly in December for Major League Soccer. After an Expansion Draft, Waiver Draft, and Re-Entry Draft, the league wraps up a busy month of roster building events with its annual college SuperDraft on Friday.
FC Dallas enters the SuperDraft with three picks, including the 11th pick in the first round.
Things are a tad different in this draft compared to previous years. Starting in 2024, MLS expanded the player eligibility criteria for the SuperDraft. Sophomores and juniors can now enter the draft alongside seniors and any pre-signed Generation adidas players. Should the player be selected and opt to return to school for another season, they can now, provided that they still have eligibility left in college.
