It is that time of the year, folks! FC Dallas and the rest of Major League Soccer are getting ready to take the field again for the start of the regular season.

Can we rewind a bit to 2024?
2024 season: 41 points (11-15-8), 11th in the Western Conference
If we must. Last season was easily one of the more disappointing seasons for FC Dallas since I began fully covering this team back in 2010. Not only did we go through a failed transfer for Jesus Ferreira, a midseason coaching change, an early Leagues Cup exit and a failed playoff push that saw us fall below...checks notes...Austin FC in the final standings.
Yeah, 2024 is one to forget and never look back on any further than you have to from here on out.
On the other side, at least North Texas SC had a pretty special 2024.
