The preseason is under way!
The FC Dallas offseason is in the books as one of the wildest we’ve seen in recent years from this club.
In previous weeks, I’ve dove into the club’s roster moves and roster building. The long and short of it all here is that this roster is in flux as we begin the first preseason under new manager Eric Quill and there are a few items to point out:
- International roster slots - Right now, we have one open slot after Carl Sainte was loaned to USL side Phoenix. The club may still want to go out and get one more.
- Loans/trades/buyouts/transfers - Boy, we’ve had a lot of those this offseason. Only thing lacking is a buyout of someone. But, hey, there is still time for one of those.
- New signings - We’ve had plenty of those as well, especially lastThursday.
There is a lot of work to do, and weirdly enough, it is only a month and a half before the start of the regular season.
