On one hand, FC Dallas claimed Copa Tejas in 2026. On the other hand, it came away with only a single point in a game that they clearly should have earned all three.
These kinds of games happen every year. They’re dull. They’re lacking anything of substance. And there are plenty of questions that come out of it.

A rabbit stole the show
Let’s be perfectly honest for a moment, there really wasn’t a lot in this one. I mean, you had one miss in the opening few minutes from Kaick at the doorstep that forces Austin keeper Brad Stuver into a big save. And you have Stuver coming up being late in stoppage time on a Logan Farrington attempt.
For the most part, this game was just 90 minutes of…nothing.
At least until a brief moment of zen when a random rabbit made it’s way onto the pitch at Toyota Stadium.
