Saturday afternoon games don't happen often these days for FC Dallas, but tomorrow, the club will be able to get their weekend match out of the way early when they take on the Seattle Sounders at Lumen Field.
To help us get some insight into Sounds, we reached out to our old SB Nation friend Jeremiah Oshan from Sounder at Heart to discuss this weekend’s match.
Injury report
The biggest new injury appears to be Danny Musovski, who has been limited in training all week. It’s unclear what kind of role he’ll play. Jackson Ragen should be back from his hamstring injury but likely won’t start. Jordan Morris remains out with a hamstring injury and Paul Arriola tore his ACL, which has him out for the year.
Recent Form
The Sounders have mostly been playing pretty well in the the seven-game stretch that started with their last game against Dallas. They’ve gone 4-1-2 in those games and seem to have found their scoring form. While they aren’t as defensively stout as they were a year ago, they have been much more dynamic offensively.
Projected Starting Lineup/Formation
4231: Frei; Nouhou, Kim, Yeimar, Alex Roldan; Cristian Roldan, Vargas; Kent, Rusnak, de la Vega; Ferreira

Key players to watch out for
Albert Rusnák is quietly having a MVP-caliber season with six goals and three assists in less than 900 minutes. He’s been particularly hot in the last four, in which he has four goals and has scored in each of his three starts.
It also looks like Jesús Ferreira will get a start at the No. 9. He’s gotten a few appearances there previously, but this would be the first time he’s done it with anything close to a first-choice supporting cast. He still hasn’t scored a goal and certainly would love to do it against his former club.
One thing the Sounders do better than others
The Sounders have sneakily become a really good pressing team and have the second most attacking third tackles of any team in the league, just one fewer than Minnesota United. They’ve also started to turn more of those turnovers into scoring chances. They’ll certainly be looking to do this as much as possible against Dallas.
