BDS Notes:
Going into opening day, FC Dallas is relatively healthy. Their injury report that was filed with the league shows a rare “None” under their logo. Yeah, it is not something we’ve seen too often with this group in recent years.
Still, there will likely be a few players missing that aren’t being reported here by the club. Earlier in the week, the club discussed that they expected newcomer Joaquin Valiente to be out this weekend due to visa-issues. I have not been given word that has been resolved.
One player we no longer have to stress over, Paxton Pomykal, was bought out of his contract yesterday. With that move, Bernard Kamungo will be the longest standing member of the active roster for FC Dallas.
Toronto enters the weekend with a slew of players on the ‘out’ list. The biggest name of the bunch is a newcomer for them, defender Matheus Pereira.
