As we get closer to the final ten games of the regular season, it is time to begin slowly planning for next season.
FC Dallas has ten games to either get into the playoffs by the skin of their teeth or begin making work on the roster for the next season. There are plenty of players on the roster who are battling for a spot on next year’s squad, while there are some players who could see their time coming to an end here.
Let’s dive into the portion of the roster that I see needing to step up right now in the final ten games of the regular season, as well as the group that is under contract through next year or the year after.
The playoff push will determine a lot of next year’s roster
I know what some of you are saying here…playoffs, really? Yeah, I know. But the final ten games are indeed going to be a push to the playoffs for FC Dallas.
As we dive into the roster, there are 13-ish players who have options for the 2026 season. Let’s discuss this group and who could be in danger of not getting their option picked up for next year.
