Report: Mamelodi Sundowns looking to add Tsiki Ntsabeleng
The midfielder hasn’t been earning minutes lately for FC Dallas.

While the incoming transfers into Major League Soccer are done for the summer, the outgoing side is still ongoing until the end of the month.
A new report out of Africa is stating that Mamelodi Sundowns of the South African Premiership are looking to add Tsiki Ntsabeleng.

Here is the bulk of the report:
Sources indicate Sundowns view Ntsabeleng as a versatile option across midfield roles, especially in light of captain Themba Zwane’s injury, which is set to sideline him for at least two months.
The former youth international has made over 90 appearances for Dallas and is understood to be open to a return home if the deal materialises.
Sundowns remain active in the market ahead of the Premier Soccer League transfer deadline on 22 September, with several players unsettled — including Khuliso Mudau, Lucas Ribeiro, Kutlwano Letlhaku, and Thapelo Maseko.
The 27-year old has appeared in 79 games with FC Dallas since the 2022 season, with 26 of those coming as a starter. During that span he's two goals and added in three assists. In 2025, he's appeared in 13 games with only one of those as a starter.

Quick BDS Take
I saw this one pop up online the other day and didn't get a chance to give a lot of thought. Before Saturday's FC Dallas game against LAFC, a couple of us in the press area asked the club's media staff if there was any smoke to this rumor and it appears that there is a good bit in the works here for Ntsabeleng with this club.
If you are Ntsabeleng, I don't blame you for going for something like this since the minutes have dried up in recent weeks. He's only appared in one game in the last ten for FC Dallas, a far cry from how he was appearing in almost every game early on this season for Eric Quill.
Also, this would allow him to return home to South Africa, which could be a priority for him at some point in his career.
I don't expect FC Dallas to receive a hefty transfer for Ntsabeleng. He's earning $200k as a base salary right now, so he's not exactly breaking the bank. But moving him out would open up another senior roster slot.
