After scoring 18 goals in the regular season for FC Dallas, forward Petar Musa scored his first international goal for Croatia to help the nation defeat the Faroe Islands 3-1 Friday afternoon.

The win officially clinched Croatia’s spot in next summer’s FIFA World Cup as they won UEFA’s Group L with a 6-1-0 record, with one match remaining. This will be Croatia’s fourth straight trip to the World Cup.

The 27-year-old was named starter for Friday's game against the Faroe Islands and, with the score tied at 1-1, Musa found the back of the net in the 57th minute. His goal turned out to be the winner in a 3-1 victory.
