Opposition Research: LAFC with Angels on Parade
LAFC has the big stars but they also have a few players that FC Dallas fans are very familiar with as well.

LAFC has always been home to some big stars in MLS since joining the league. As the Southern California club comes to town this weekend to battle FC Dallas, we are going to get to know them a bit more thanks to an old friend of the SB Nation network.
Trebor Tracy from the great LAFC website Angels on Parade joins us today to breakdown what LAFC brings to Saturday's match in Frisco.
Injury report
Aaron Long remains out for the season, Maxime Chanot is close to returning but will likely still be out for this match.
Recent Form
LAFC are riding a four match unbeaten run going back to Leagues Cup action. They have racked up a lot of draws, but are coming off a shutout win over New England Revs. The win was only the third win on the road, as away form this season has been awful. The addition of Son has definitely sparked the attack, which could be the turning point for their form away from Los Angeles.
Projected Starting Lineup/Formation
4-3-3 Lloris, Palencia, Segura, Tafosi, Hollingshead, Tillman, Jesus, Delgado, Ordaz, Son, Bouanga
In this crowded Dallas sports market, FC Dallas gets little love — that’s where Big D Soccer comes in. Paid subscribers not only fuel local soccer coverage, they also unlock deeper analysis and features you won’t see anywhere else. If you believe Dallas soccer matters, join in and support it.
Key players to watch out for
The obvious are forwards Son Heung-Min and Denis Bouanga. Would also do well to keep tabs on youngsters David Martinez and Nathan Ordaz who can score with the best of them.
One thing LAFC does better than anyone else in MLS
Not sure there is anything LAFC does better than anyone else. Typically, it would be their attack and how well they can strike on the counter but this season for the most part the team has been just above or right at average in all areas of play. The one thing they have done extremely well, is put on second halves. They can seemingly flip the switch at halftime if need be, and their infamous “second half surge” is something fans have come to expect, even if it hasn’t worked out that way at times this year.
