A big home stand begins tonight for FC Dallas as they host the San Jose Earthquakes.
Both teams have their lineups in, so letโs discuss them ahead of tonightโs match.
Quick thoughts
After a week off, FC Dallas manager Eric Quill is sticking with a similar formation that worked in Kansas City.

I mean, if it isn't broke, why fix it?
We'll get to see how Alvaro Augusto handles a real quality attacking side in his second start in the defense next to Sebastien Ibeagha. They'll have Shaq Moore and Marco Farfan on the wings, and Maarten Paes in goal behind them.
The midfield sees a trio of Sebastian Lletget, Patrickson Delgado and Pedrinho. They'll be tasked with finding ways to link up with Petar Musa, Lucho Acosta and Anderson Julio up top tonight.
Big question for tonight: Can they get off to a hot start?
This has been the struggle for FC Dallas all season long. They've given up a lot of early chances and goal to teams that they shouldn't be giving up goals to (ie: Kansas City a week and a half ago). Quill has stated that they seem to do better in responding to giving up those goals, but at home against a strong attacking team like San Jose, they cannot afford to be lazy early on.
Who is on the bench?
Both Lalas Abubakar and Kaick are back from their suspensions this week. They'll be joined by Leo Chu, Logan Farrington, Michael Collodi, Bernard Kamungo, Tsiki Ntsabeleng, Anthony Ramirez, and Nolan Norris.
Who we could see off the bench
It may depend on if they're down a goal at half, but looking at the bench for this one and knowing there is another game on Saturday, I think we'll see some rotation tonight. I'd expect to see Farrington, Kamungo, Kaick, and possibly Chu or Norris in this one.
