FC Dallas looks to end its four-game losing streak tonight in San Jose.
The lineups are in for each side, so let’s dive in to them along with some questions.
The XI + Quick Thoughts
We’re going a bit defensive tonight, folks.

The big one is Josh Torquato starting up in the attack around Petar Musa and Bernard Kamungo. Seeing an academy player start in a MLS game is something else. If we’re getting back to the roots of the club, this is certainly one way to do it.
Patrickson Delgado joins Ramiro and Kaick in the midfield. I think he’ll be more of an attacking support for the front line than a defensive midfielder in this one.
Elsewhere, we have Shaq Moore and Marco Farfan on the defensive wings. Maarten Paes is in goal with Sebastien Ibeagha and Lalas Abubakar in the central defense.
Who is on the bench?
The bench feels fairly stacked with Osaze Urhoghide, Sebastien Lletget, Michael Collodi, Tsiki Ntsabeleng, Alvaro Augusto, Logan Farrington, Tarik Scott, Sam Sarver and Antony Ramirez.
Who should come off the bench?
Given who is on the bench tonight for this one and the game on Saturday in Frisco, I’d say we’ll get Lletget, Farrington, and Sarver off the bench. I’d love to see Urhoghide get some minutes here, too.
Big question for tonight: Can Musa lead the attack?
We saw Musa have to carry the attack a lot last season when guys like Jesus Ferreira, Alan Velasco, Paul Arriola and Sebastian Lletget were out. With no Pedrinho or Lucho Acosta tonight, Musa is going to have to step up and be a leader in the attack.
Suspended: Lucho Acosta
SEI List: Geovane Jesus (Right knee), Enzo Newman (knee), Herbert Endeley (knee)
Out: Paxton Pomykal (knee bruise), Anderson Julio (lower leg), Nolan Norris (ankle), Pedrinho (personal reasons)
Questionable: none
On Loan: Tomas Pondeca (New Mexico United), Carl Sainte (Phoenix Rising), Enes Sali (Al-Riyadh SC), Diego Pepi (Texoma FC),
International Duty: none
