It is game day again here in Frisco as FC Dallas is getting set to host San Diego FC.
Both teams have their lineups in, so let’s discuss them ahead of tonight’s match.
Quick thoughts
Suspensions and injuries had a bit to say about this lineup, huh?

It looks like we have a bit of a 4-3-3 tonight or maybe a 5-3-2 depending on when the club is in possession or not.
One of the bigger moves is seeing Nolan Norris get a shot at the defensive midfield spot with both Ramiro still out and Kaick suspended. He'll be supporting Patrickson Delgado and Sebastian Lletget in the middle of the field.
In the attack, we'll see Bernard Kamungo come in for Anderson Julio, who picked up an injury on Wednesday night. He'll be next to Petar Musa in the attack with Lucho Acosta pulling the strings behind them.
Defensively, with Sebastien Ibeagha suspended, Lalas Abubakar returns from suspension in the middle of the defense next to Alvaro Augusto. Marco Farfan and Shaq Moore continue to be on the wings with Maarten Paes in goal.
Big question for tonight: Can this defensive group hold?
San Diego absolutely shredded this defense last time these two faced off back in May. The visitors are missing some key players for international duty and Chucky Lozano is on the bench to begin tonight, so this group has to figure out how to remain connected and limit their mistakes.
Who is on the bench?
Let's get a couple housekeeping items out of the way first. FC Dallas brought in Sam Sarver and Josh Torquato on a short-term loan tonight from North Texas SC.
Along with those two, the bench will Leo Chu, Tsiki Ntasbeleng, Pedrinho, Logan Farrington, Diego Garcia, Anthony Ramirez and Michael Collodi.
Who we could see off the bench
It is a young bench tonight, but I think we'll see Chu, Ntsabeleng, Pedrinho and Farrington. If, big if, Dallas gets a lead late we may see one of the younger guys.
